Workshop 1 - Making New Friends
In this workshop, the attendees can learn about the importance and hardship of forming friendships in a foreign country. They will also be able to discover how to make friends in a comfortable way. The attendees will get an insight into how healthy and long-lasting friendships can positively affect one’s life.
Breakout Room Leaders Instructions:
Welcome everyone to your breakout room and introduce yourself
Send the link to the Jamboard to your breakout room and tell everyone to join it
Click on the link to the Jamboard and share your screen so everyone can see the Jamboard
Read outloud the instructions on Slide 1
Go to Slide 2 and read Scenario 1
Ask your group to come up with strategies on how to solve this scenario and write it down on the Jamboard
Go to Slide 3 and read Scenario 2 (repeat step 6)
Go to Slide 4 and read Scenario 3 (repeat step 6)
After 15 minutes, pick one person to share the group's strategies for the Reflections part
Return to the main meeting and we will discuss the strategies
